At the begining of the project in ‘09 |
Amirynth I am this nutter who originally hails from Jolly Old England. I adore scalies, dragons, snakes, you name it but then I do have a small soft spot for the cats. I seem to collect nicknames about as much as I collect scarves. Some of them are: Rynn, Crys, Tails, Troll, Malis among others… I am the co-leader of my renaissance guild, WillowGlen. We’re a guild based on the myths and legends of the time. I love to dress up in fun costumes and I am a repeat visitor to AnimeExpo, ComicCon and recently Blizzcon. My favorite musician (other then Queen) is Imogen Heap with Snow Patrol, Secondhand Serenade, Tool, Red, Kamelot, and others following. I am a GaiaOnline addict, my home is in the breedables forums and if I’m not there I’m playing Malis or Rynn on WoW (FOR THE HORDE!) |
| It was WoW that actually got me into drawing the chibi. My best friend’s character and my troll Malis became the first test subjects. Over the past few months I’ve been drawing little sketches of ‘the life and times of a troll’ or at least the missadventures. While a lot of them are ‘you had to have been there’ kinda moments, others I’ve managed to draw that anyone can get, understand and laugh at. Around the middle of the year I had been RPing Rynn with Zevron in WoW and decided that I enjoyed the storyline so much that I started to sketch down the events they went through. This kept me going through that section and now I’m rounding into the final quarter of this project. The focus seems to be Solemn and his characters and their interactions with mine. Many things have happened through the year and this has almost become a mini diary for myself. I’m really pleased with the results from the project. My style is well defined and is on it’s way to being more refined. With an interesting cast of characters I hope to soon start up a webcomic of sorts… it’ll be interesting to see what comes of it! |
